Selling our products!
The way we work is very simple, we give people the chance to earn some extra spending money by selling our products. It could be the odd £40.00 from a party plan evening with your family and friends or a substantial extra or even main income by selling at craft fairs, shows etc. In fact there are no limits, it simply depends on how much you want to do.

What do I sell?
We have an extensive range of natural remedies, beauty & bath products, animal products and a sensual range plus 100% pure essential oils and carrier oils. We can also supply a selection of gift items, oil burners, candles, small ornates etc. to pep up the range or display. Choose what you want to sell and only take the ones you decide on. All our products are natural with no chemical or animal additives, we do not test on animals and many of our lines can sell themselves. This is a very popular and interesting market at the moment!

Do I work for Avena?
No. You work for yourself meaning you choose how much you do and how often. You may want to do something every week or you may just want to do some at Xmas for example.

Do I need training?
Yes. You will need to know about the products you choose to sell but this will not take ages, we can tell you about their different properties when you select your range, we can then give you notes and leaflets for you to refer to.

Do I need any experience?
No. We can tell you what you need to know, a willingness to work is more important if you want it to take off , if you're doing it as a little extra income just enjoy it & tie it into your social life! The only thing you will need is to communicate well, as you're selling a product that people will ask questions about!

Is there an initial outlay for me?
Yes. Unfortunately as we don’t know you we will have to charge you for the stock you take to start with but remember you buy at wholesale price so get a lot more for your money (if this is a problem we may take a deposit or cheque or come to some arrangement). Once we get to know you we can offer credit etc.

Do I get ongoing support?
Of course, you are selling our name as well as our products so it’s in our best interest to give you as much help and support as possible, also the more you sell the more money you make which is more profitable to us in the long run so we will help you all we can.

Do you have any rules?
Not really rules but we do have standards, as mentioned above you are selling our name and you need a certain amount of professionalism and even if your only doing one day a year you have to remember this is our lively hood and therefore very important to us. One other point is we operate a first come first served basis (for bigger sellers mainly) eg. If one person is doing very well in a certain town and getting a good name for themselves we won’t anyone competing with them in their area.

Do I need to live near Skipton?
Definitely not! We can supply any area of the UK. You will be surprised how easy and cheap this can be, we have a successful agent in Southampton who I think is our furthest at the moment.

Why do you need someone like me?
It’s quite simple, we hardly make any money on the items you sell but what we find is that our products are that good people recommend them to others once they’ve tried them and come to us via our web site, mail order or visit our shop which creates us more business and gets us better known, it also means we have a higher turnover of stock, the more we sell the more we buy, the more we buy the bigger discounts we get meaning we can keep prices down and profit margins up.

How much will I make?
This obviously depends on you and the time and effort you can give it, there is no pressure from us to make any minimum amount. We obviously don’t want to print profit or cost figures here but this isn’t because we don’t think you’ll like them we just don’t want them available to anyone. Once you think you are serious we will discuss this with you further. We don’t offer any get rich quick promises but for the right person there is a lot of potential with no risk or long term commitments.
