Cedarwood essential oil is soothing and harmonising; it is one of the oldest aromatics known, used by Egyptians and valued with a very long history, cedarwood is used in the treatment of oily or itchy skin and for acne and scalp problems.

It may also be helpful for easing cystitis and other urinary problems. Blend with citronella for a powerful insect repellent.

Coriander seeds have been used for thousands of years by the Egyptians as an aphrodisiac, by the Romans and Greeks to flavour their wines and in India for cooking. Coriander seeds were even found in the tomb of Tutankhamun.

Coriander makes a refreshing, uplifting and stimulating essential oil. It is well known as a digestive aid that stimulates and improves the appetite.

Juniper essential oil can be extracted from the berries, which take three years to ripen, or the needles and wood of the plant which yields a much cheaper oil.

Our juniper essential oil is only extracted from the berries ensuring great quality and a superior oil. Always check when buying juniper that it states whether it is the berry oil.

Used in an oil burner juniper berry is known to be great for hangovers, over indulgence and tension headaches. In massage oils, creams or used directly in the bath it is famed for eczema relief and is contained in many eczema remedies as well as other skin ailments including dermatitis, acne, blocked pores and psoriasis.

Lichen planus is an itchy rash that can appear anywhere on the body but often favours the inside of the wrists and ankles, the lower legs, back, and neck. The mouth, genital region, hair and nails are affected in some individuals. It can last from months to years and most commonly affects those between the ages of 30 and 60. It's rare for children or older people to be troubled though not impossible. Lichen planus appears as shiny, flat-topped bumps that often have an angular shape. These bumps have a reddish-purplish colour with a shiny cast due to a very fine scale. The precise cause of lichen planus is not known and is often mistaken for psoriasis as they can look similar. However, unlike with psoriasis, lichen planus is not believed to run in families and its onset bears no relation to stress.

Myrrh essential oil has been an integral part of religious rituals, health practices, beauty treatments and perfumery for thousands of years.

Used in an oil burner, a few drops in the bath or blended as a massage oil or cream it is renowned for increasing mental strength, focus and clarity of mind. It’s also a wonderful scent for people with feelings of apathy so is a great oil if you need some 'get up and go'.

Myrrh is also often used as an ingredient in treatments for oral complaints including mouth ulcers, gingivitis, spongy gums and sore throats but is purported to have many other uses including the reduction of catarrh, easing of colds and coughs, alleviation of sores, as a skin care ingredient and as a remedy for athlete’s foot, eczema, bedsores, chapped and cracked skin, boils and acne.

A blended dilution using 10% of pure neroli essential oil blended in jojoba to make this wonderful oil more affordable. Use the blend in an oil burner, massage oil, cream, lotion or directly in the bath for great results and even though this is blended the 10% strength still guarantees a beautiful aroma.
Neroli essential oil is one of the more expensive essential oils but is well worth the money due to its great therapeutic properties and incredible aroma.
Used in an oil burner, a few drops in the bath or blended as a massage oil or cream this wonderful oil is great for insomnia, tension, headaches, vertigo, depression, anxiety, shock, headaches, depression and stomach upsets.
Neroli is also widely used in skin preparations for reducing the appearance of stretch marks or to prevent scarring. Its action of stimulating cell growth and cellular activity helps it to rejuvenate and regenerate the skin.
The therapeutic properties of neroli oil include antidepressant, antiseptic, anti-infectious, antispasmodic, bactericidal, carminative, deodorant, digestive, emollient, sedative and tonic.

Niaouli essential oil is well known for its antiseptic qualities being suitable for a multitude of skin problems.

Tea tree is probably best known as nature's own antiseptic. Wintergreen is probably best known for its distinctive medicinal minty aroma; if you have used a pain relieving gel or cream with that unique ‘sports rub’ aroma the chances are it had wintergreen in it. The most renowned health benefit of wintergreen is its pain-relieving effects. Our wintergreen ointment is a ready to apply topical balm which is most commonly used for muscle aches and pains, rheumatism and arthritis and sciatica but can also be used to help alleviate headaches, muscle cramps, joint and bone pain, gout, tendonitis as well as being known to be a good skin oil for acne and hair care preventing hair loss and dandruff.

When applied this ointment is readily absorbed through the skin and the presence of the Methyl Salicylate in the wintergreen induces numbness and anaesthetic effect on the nerves bringing pain relief to a specific area. It also stimulates blood circulation around the affected tissues and muscles bringing a feeling of warmth to the skin. By helping to clear obstructions in the flow of blood, which is one of the major causes behind rheumatism and arthritis and not let toxins like uric acid accumulate it has become the ointment of choice for pain relief. Wintergreen oil is extracted from the shiny oval evergreen leaves of the Gaultheria procumbens.
